A Myth About Lovers.

There is a myth about Lovers; they say we never really Love one nor are we ever truly loved by one. We are an embodiment of all the loves we have, their thoughts and feelings.
The man who gave your mother milk loves you, he has been a strong pillar all your life, all the time. The one relationship you should get right but you're not in that type of place, you do not have that type of skin tone.
The child that first swept you off your feet with a cute face and absolutely dumb thoughts filled nice voice. You probably still know him, he is probably a 1 in 52 or 90 for you now.
The boy that offered you a drink because he wanted to see you wild,  he wanted to touch your skin and confirm the silky nature. You probably let him satisfy his curiosity while you filled yours, he's most definitely the one you label 'history' every time you're out drinking with your girls. You still have some pent up negative emotions however.
The individual that let you run wild because he wanted to be your healing, you have pestered, he has considered being the fix you need, maybe because you asked or because he felt the need to empty his sac. You don't really care , you ran as fast as you could and lived with your every breath heating your lungs.
The one that finds you while you were running and captivates you enough to make you stop, even though you don't know few minutes after you just watch like a dummy in third person while time passes you by.
Here's what we are not really told about Lovers,Its hard to love one at a time, it's hard to give your 100% at any point and most importantly, there is no rule for it except figuring out what works for you. It is a  very important rule to abide by , that is if you want to wake up not grumpy about who woke you from sleep.
I could type some Love hard, Love free yadayada but I will stick to Love the few meaningless messages that contribute to your growth, make your igloo warm and let you think the world is beautiful.
Lovers are nice but breathing is important, breathing in fresh air on warm days.
We have a lot of Lovers but just one Love, they say.

P.s If you can, read this while listening to "Someone you loved" by Lewis Capaldi or "Only You" by Calum Scott.
